                       A RESOLUTION
            Honoring the Heath High School baseball team as the
              Division III State Champion.
     WHEREAS, The members of the Senate of the 135th General Assembly    1
of Ohio are pleased to congratulate the Heath High School baseball       2
team on winning the 2024 Division III State Championship; and            3
     WHEREAS, A remarkable group of young athletes, the members of the   4
Heath High School baseball team have combined talent and spirit with     5
the highest ideals of good sportsmanship to establish themselves as      6
truly exceptional competitors. With admirable dedication, the Bulldogs   7
have worked diligently toward attaining ultimate proficiency in          8
baseball, and as a result, they defeated a tough Milbury Lake team by    9
the score of 3-1 to win this year’s Division III State Championship,     10
their third such title in program history; and                           11
     WHEREAS, The Bulldogs’ achievements and leadership are a            12
justifiable source of pride and an excellent reflection on the           13
players, their families, their school, their community, and their        14
coach, Tom Warren. In leading his team to victory, Coach Warren has      15
not only helped the athletes to develop their talents to the fullest     16
but also instilled in them a valuable sense of determination,            17
perseverance, and camaraderie; and                                       18
     WHEREAS, With athletic competition playing such an important role   19
in the total education of our young people, we are overjoyed to pay      20
tribute to these exemplary athletes and their outstanding coach for a    21
job well done. The maturity and experience the team members have         22
gained through their participation in sports will greatly aid them in    23
meeting the challenges of the future; therefore be it                    24
    RESOLVED, That we, the members of the Senate of the 135th General    25

As Introduced
Assembly of Ohio, in adopting this Resolution, commend the Heath High      26
School baseball team on its tremendous season and salute the members       27
and coach as some of Ohio’s finest citizens; and be it further             28
     RESOLVED, That the Clerk of the Senate transmit a duly                29
authenticated copy of this Resolution to the Heath High School             30
baseball team.                                                             31
