A RESOLUTION
Honoring Shoemaker’s IGA
on its Centennial.
WHEREAS, The members of the House of Representatives of the 135th 1
General Assembly of Ohio are pleased to congratulate Shoemaker’s IGA 2
on the auspicious occasion of its One Hundredth Anniversary; and 3
WHEREAS, Recognition of this prestigious milestone is a fitting 4
tribute to Shoemaker’s IGA, for throughout the past one hundred years, 5
this fine family business has attained a remarkable record of service 6
to the South Charleston area. Established in 1924, this endeavor has 7
expanded its reach to provide premium products and services to its 8
loyal customers, and it has certainly become a staple throughout the 9
community; and 10
WHEREAS, The success of Shoemaker’s IGA is a justifiable source of 11
pride and an outstanding reflection not only on the business itself 12
but also on its astute management and on its hard-working employees. 13
This respected enterprise has earned the gratitude and appreciation of 14
many due to the vision and initiative of its staff, and it is truly 15
deserving of high praise; and 16
WHEREAS, Shoemaker’s IGA has enhanced the quality of life within 17
the State of Ohio as a storied grocery venture. We are certain that as 18
this worthy establishment maintains its unwavering dedication to 19
service and achievement, it will continue to prosper and will uphold 20
the tradition of excellence that has long been its hallmark; therefore 21
be it 22
RESOLVED, That we, the members of the House of Representatives of 23
the 135th General Assembly of Ohio, in adopting this Resolution, 24
commend Shoemaker’s IGA on its One Hundredth Anniversary and extend 25

best wishes for the future; and be it further 26
RESOLVED, That the Clerk of the House of Representatives transmit 27
a duly authenticated copy of this Resolution to Shoemaker’s IGA. 28
