                       A RESOLUTION
            Honoring Grace Anderson as a 2024 USA Gymnastics State
              Champion.
     WHEREAS, The members of the Senate of the 135th General Assembly    1
of Ohio are pleased to congratulate Grace Anderson on winning the 2024   2
USA Gymnastics State Championship for Ohio in the uneven bars; and       3
     WHEREAS, A junior at John F. Kennedy Catholic School, Grace         4
Anderson has combined talent and competitive spirit with the highest     5
ideals of good sportsmanship to establish herself as a truly             6
exceptional young athlete. With admirable dedication, she has worked     7
diligently toward attaining ultimate proficiency in gymnastics,          8
training five days a week and four hours a night, and as a result, she   9
placed first in the uneven bars at this year’s USA Gymnastics state      10
meet and advanced to the regional competition in Lexington, Kentucky,    11
as part of Team Ohio; and                                                12
     WHEREAS, Grace Anderson’s accomplishments and leadership, both in   13
and out of competition, are a justifiable source of pride and a fine     14
reflection not only on her but also on her family, her teammates, her    15
coaches, her gym, and her community. Her unwavering commitment to        16
excellence has earned her the respect and esteem of many, and she is     17
certainly worthy of high praise; and                                     18
     WHEREAS, With athletic competition playing such an important role   19
in the total development of our young people, we are extremely pleased   20
to pay tribute to Grace Anderson on her exemplary achievements.          21
Indeed, the same maturity and experience she has gained through her      22
participation in gymnastics will greatly aid her in meeting the          23
challenges of the future; therefore be it                                24
    RESOLVED, That we, the members of the Senate of the 135th General    25

As Introduced
Assembly of Ohio, in adopting this Resolution, commend Grace Anderson      26
on her 2024 USA Gymnastics State Championship and extend best wishes       27
for continued success; and be it further                                   28
     RESOLVED, That the Clerk of the Senate transmit a duly                29
authenticated copy of this Resolution to Grace Anderson.                   30
