                       A RESOLUTION
            Honoring the Academy of Medicine of Cleveland and Northern
              Ohio as it celebrates its Two Hundredth Anniversary.
     WHEREAS, The members of the Senate of the 135th General Assembly    1
of Ohio are pleased to celebrate the Academy of Medicine of Cleveland    2
and Northern Ohio on its Bicentennial, observed May 4, 2024; and         3
     WHEREAS, Recognition of this prestigious milestone is a fitting     4
tribute to the Academy of Medicine of Cleveland and Northern Ohio, for   5
throughout the past two hundred years, this outstanding medical          6
society and professional association has attained a remarkable record    7
of service to the area. Founded in 1824, this fine institution has       8
made a tremendous impact on the community, and it continues to inspire   9
the trust, confidence, admiration, and superb quality for which it has   10
become known; and                                                        11
     WHEREAS, The accomplishments of the Academy of Medicine of          12
Cleveland and Northern Ohio is a justifiable source of pride and an      13
outstanding reflection not only on the organization itself but also on   14
the many fine people who have contributed to its success over the past   15
two hundred years. Due to their vision and initiative, they have         16
earned the institution a distinguished reputation as well as the         17
gratitude and appreciation of many, and they are truly worthy of         18
admiration for their endeavors; and                                      19
     WHEREAS, Over the years, the Academy of Medicine of Cleveland and   20
Northern Ohio has addressed the needs of medical professionals in        21
Greater Cleveland. We are certain that as this worthy group maintains    22
its dedication to achievement, it will continue to provide important     23
services for its members and will uphold the tradition of excellence     24
that has long been its hallmark; therefore be it                         25

As Introduced
     RESOLVED, That we, the members of the Senate of the 135th General     26
Assembly of Ohio, in adopting this Resolution, commend the Academy of      27
Medicine of Cleveland and Northern Ohio on its Two Hundredth               28
Anniversary and offer best wishes for the future; and be it further        29
     RESOLVED, That the Clerk of the Senate transmit a duly                30
authenticated copy of this Resolution to the Academy of Medicine of        31
Cleveland and Northern Ohio.                                               32
