A RESOLUTION
Honoring the St. Francis DeSales High School cheer team as
the 2024 Division 3 Building State Champion.
WHEREAS, The members of the Senate of the 135th General Assembly 1
of Ohio are pleased to extend special recognition to the St. Francis 2
DeSales High School cheer team on winning the Division 3 Building 3
Championship at the 2024 Ohio Association of Secondary School 4
Administrators State Cheer Championships; and 5
WHEREAS, The talented athletes of the St. Francis DeSales High 6
School cheer team are, indeed, to be commended for their remarkable 7
fitness and competitive drive, qualities that have figured prominently 8
in their impressive performance at this year’s OASSA State Cheer 9
Championship. To their credit, the members could always be counted on 10
to execute even the most demanding routines with agility, precision, 11
exuberance, and grace; and 12
WHEREAS, Under the expert guidance of their coaches, the members 13
of the St. Francis DeSales High School cheer team have trained 14
tirelessly in order to ensure peak physical and mental conditioning, 15
and their exceptional prowess has earned them many admirers. 16
Participation in this sport has enabled them to learn much about 17
creative expression, discipline, and dedication, and clearly, the 18
experience they have acquired is certain to benefit them in the years 19
to come; and 20
WHEREAS, Their enthusiastic spirit and love of sports has led all 21
those who comprise the St. Francis DeSales High School cheer team to 22
take part in many activities, and they have served as an inspiration 23
to their peers. Their tremendous accomplishments have made their 24
families, their coaches, their school, and their community very proud; 25
therefore be it 26

RESOLVED, That we, the members of the Senate of the 135th General 27
Assembly of Ohio, in adopting this Resolution, applaud the St. Francis 28
DeSales High School cheer team for exemplary achievement and extend 29
best wishes for ongoing success; and be it further 30
RESOLVED, That the Clerk of the Senate transmit a duly 31
authenticated copy of this Resolution to the St. Francis DeSales High 32
School cheer team. 33
