A RESOLUTION
Honoring Gwenyth Huddle on winning the 2022 and 2023
National Lutheran Cross Country Championship meets.
WHEREAS, The members of the Senate of the 135th General Assembly 1
of Ohio are pleased to commend Gwenyth Huddle as the 2022 and 2023 2
National Lutheran Cross Country middle school national champion; and 3
WHEREAS, Gwenyth Huddle’s outstanding ability and spirited drive 4
have distinguished her as a superior athlete and a standout member of 5
the St. Paul Lutheran School cross country team. Indeed, she has 6
trained diligently in pursuit of her goals, and she secured the 7
individual title at the 2022 and 2023 National Lutheran Cross Country 8
Championship meets. Clearly, she is greatly esteemed by all those who 9
have witnessed her in action; and 10
WHEREAS, In displaying such remarkable prowess, Gwenyth Huddle has 11
earned the appreciation of her fellow athletes, the respect of even 12
her most determined rivals, and the admiration of countless fans, 13
including her family, her school community, and her coach. Competition 14
in athletics has enabled her to learn much about dedication and self- 15
discipline, and we take this opportunity to pay tribute to her 16
exceptional record of accomplishment; and 17
WHEREAS, Cross country is a sport that requires extensive stamina, 18
natural ability, and tenacity, and Gwenyth Huddle is to be commended 19
for her commitment to this demanding athletic endeavor. In attaining 20
her goals, she has consistently exhibited the skill and integrity that 21
are the hallmarks of a true champion; therefore be it 22
RESOLVED, That we, the members of the Senate of the 135th General 23
Assembly of Ohio, in adopting this Resolution, extend recognition to 24
Gwenyth Huddle on her outstanding athletic achievements as a two-time 25

As Introduced
National Lutheran Cross Country champion and look with optimism to her 26
bright, promising future; and be it further 27
RESOLVED, That the Clerk of the Senate transmit a duly 28
authenticated copy of this Resolution to Gwenyth Huddle. 29
