                       A RESOLUTION
  Honoring the Adams County Farm Bureau on receiving a 2024 American
    Farm Bureau Federation County Activities of Excellence Award.
     WHEREAS, The members of the House of Representatives of the 135th   1
General Assembly of Ohio are pleased to extend special recognition to    2
the Adams County Farm Bureau on being presented with a 2024 County       3
Activities of Excellence Award by the American Farm Bureau Federation;   4
and                                                                      5
     WHEREAS, Comprised of a cohesive group of committed and motivated   6
members, the Adams County Farm Bureau has been chosen to receive this    7
award for its efforts to establish the Farm Bureau Day at the Fair, a    8
unique event held during fair week featuring attractions for children,   9
such as watermelon eating and frog jumping contests, seed spitting,      10
and pedal tractor pulls, as well as tractor games and skill              11
exhibitions aimed at adults. Indeed, the success of this project         12
convincingly demonstrates how very much can be accomplished by           13
conscientious people with clear objectives and firm resolve; and         14
     WHEREAS, All those associated with the Adams County Farm Bureau,    15
both past and present, are deserving of high praise for their            16
tremendous efforts. Individuals such as these, who are willing to        17
invest in the future of their community, can be proud of the many        18
contributions their initiative has made to the well-being of the State   19
of Ohio; and                                                             20
     WHEREAS, Agriculture is among Ohio’s most important industries,     21
and it is truly encouraging to know that its future in our state lies,   22
to a large extent, in the capable hands of conscientious individuals     23
such as those affiliated with the Adams County Farm Bureau. We are       24
certain that, in the years to come, the members of this fine             25
organization will continue to display the same unwavering commitment     26

to excellence for which they have become known; therefore be it            27
     RESOLVED, That we, the members of the House of Representatives of     28
the 135th General Assembly of Ohio, in adopting this Resolution,           29
applaud the Adams County Farm Bureau on this accolade and salute its       30
members as exemplary Ohioans; and be it further                            31
     RESOLVED, That the Clerk of the House of Representatives transmit     32
a duly authenticated copy of this Resolution to the Adams County Farm      33
Bureau.                                                                    34
