                       A RESOLUTION
                         Honoring Adam Mattin
           as a 2024 Division III State Wrestling Champion.
     WHEREAS, The members of the House of Representatives of the 135th    1
General Assembly of Ohio are pleased to honor Adam Mattin on securing     2
first place at the 2024 Division III State Wrestling Championship in      3
the 113-pound weight class; and                                           4
     WHEREAS, Adam Mattin’s outstanding ability and spirited drive, as    5
well as his quickness and tenacity, have been contributing factors to     6
his superior athleticism and he has been an exemplary member of the       7
Delta High School wrestling team. Throughout the 2023-2024 season, he     8
has gained the admiration and respect of all those who have witnessed     9
him in action, and his Division III State Championship title in the       10
113-pound weight class is a testament to his drive and devotion; and      11
     WHEREAS, Few sports embody the spirit of individual accomplishment   12
more than wrestling. Athletes such as Adam Mattin exemplify the           13
qualities necessary for greatness in any sport, including discipline,     14
agility, conditioning, and focus. Indeed, throughout long hours of        15
competition, he has consistently demonstrated a degree of commitment      16
and dedication that will serve him well as he pursues his goals in        17
life; and                                                                 18
     WHEREAS, Throughout his high school athletic career, Adam Mattin     19
had prepared conscientiously in pursuit of excellence, devoting           20
countless hours to training and practice in order to ensure peak          21
conditioning. We praise his contributions to the Panthers wrestling       22
program and salute his impressive achievement; therefore be it            23
     RESOLVED, That we, the members of the House of Representatives of    24
the 135th General Assembly of Ohio, in adopting this Resolution, pay      25

As Offered
tribute to Adam Mattin on his state championship and count him among       26
the ranks of Ohio’s most talented wrestlers; and be it further             27
     RESOLVED, That the Clerk of the House of Representatives transmit     28
a duly authenticated copy of this Resolution to Adam Mattin.               29
