                       A RESOLUTION
            Honoring Brookside High School on its Centennial.
     WHEREAS, The members of the Senate of the 135th General Assembly     1
of Ohio are pleased to congratulate Brookside High School on the          2
auspicious occasion of its One Hundredth Anniversary; and                 3
     WHEREAS, Recognition of this prestigious milestone is a fitting      4
tribute to Brookside High School, for since it opened in 1924, it has     5
played an instrumental role in preparing the students of the              6
Sheffield-Sheffield Lake School District for the future. Over the         7
years, this local institution has changed and updated its facilities      8
to better meet the needs of the grades housed within, and with an         9
unwavering commitment to educational excellence, it has earned the        10
gratitude and respect of students, parents, and the community alike;      11
and                                                                       12
     WHEREAS, We are certain that in the years to come, the instructors   13
and administrators of Brookside High School will maintain their           14
unfaltering dedication to helping students become capable, well-          15
rounded individuals. As they take part in this year-long celebration,     16
the school’s students, staff, and alumni can be justly proud of this      17
fine institution; and                                                     18
     WHEREAS, Education is vital to our nation’s continued economic and   19
social well-being, and as the need for global learning and                20
understanding increases, so do the demands placed upon our system of      21
education. Brookside High School has consistently and effectively met     22
these challenges, and it is truly deserving of high praise; therefore     23
be it                                                                     24
     RESOLVED, That we, the members of the Senate of the 135th General    25
Assembly of Ohio, in adopting this Resolution, commend Brookside High     26

As Introduced
School on its One Hundredth Anniversary and extend best wishes for            27
ongoing success; and be it further                                            28
     RESOLVED, That the Clerk of the Senate transmit a duly                   29
authenticated copy of this Resolution to Brookside High School.               30
