A RESOLUTION
Honoring the Olmsted Falls High School girls basketball
team on winning the 2024 Division I State Championship.
WHEREAS, The members of the Senate of the 135th General Assembly 1
of Ohio are pleased to congratulate the Olmsted Falls High School 2
girls basketball team as the 2024 Division I State Champion; and 3
WHEREAS, A remarkable group of young athletes, the members of the 4
Olmsted Falls High School girls basketball team have combined talent 5
and spirit with the highest ideals of good sportsmanship to establish 6
themselves as truly exceptional competitors. With admirable 7
dedication, the Bulldogs have worked diligently toward attaining 8
ultimate proficiency in basketball, and consequently, they finished 9
the season with an impressive 26-3 record and bested Springboro High 10
School by the score of 52-4 to win this year’s Division I State 11
Championship; and 12
WHEREAS, The Bulldogs’ achievements and leadership are a 13
justifiable source of pride and an excellent reflection on the 14
players, their families, their school, their community, and their 15
coach, Jordan Eaton. In leading the team to victory, Coach Eaton not 16
only helped the athletes to develop their talents to the fullest but 17
also instilled in them a valuable sense of determination, 18
perseverance, and camaraderie; and 19
WHEREAS, With athletic competition playing such an important role 20
in the total education of our young people, we are extremely pleased 21
to pay tribute to these exemplary athletes and their outstanding coach 22
for a job well done. The maturity and experience the team members have 23
gained through their participation in sports will greatly aid them in 24
meeting the challenges of the future; therefore be it 25

RESOLVED, That we, the members of the Senate of the 135th General 26
Assembly of Ohio, in adopting this Resolution, commend the Olmsted 27
Falls High School girls basketball team on its tremendous season and 28
salute the members and coach as some of Ohio’s finest citizens; and be 29
it further 30
RESOLVED, That the Clerk of the Senate transmit a duly 31
authenticated copy of this Resolution to Olmsted Falls High School 32
girls basketball team. 33
