                       A RESOLUTION
                    Honoring Trinity Baptist Church
                   on its One Hundredth Anniversary.
     WHEREAS, The members of the House of Representatives of the 135th   1
General Assembly of Ohio are pleased to extend special recognition to    2
Trinity Baptist Church on the hallowed occasion of its One Hundredth     3
Anniversary, celebrated May 17, 2024; and                                4
     WHEREAS, Since its inception in 1924, Trinity Baptist Church has    5
offered its members the pathway to a more meaningful life by             6
illuminating and demonstrating the precepts on which the church was      7
founded. The spirit of love and Christian fellowship that exists among   8
the parishioners not only prevails within the church edifice itself      9
but also extends beyond those sacred walls to touch the lives of         10
everyone encountered by these devout disciples; and                      11
     WHEREAS, Under the capable leadership of the church’s religious     12
leaders, both past and present, including its current pastor, the        13
Reverend Dr. Victor M. Davis, Trinity Baptist Church has experienced     14
continual growth and has provided a source of moral guidance and         15
spiritual motivation for each of its members. Over the years, the        16
church has enhanced the quality of life within the surrounding area,     17
and through its generous efforts, it has earned the gratitude and        18
respect of the many citizens it has so capably served; and               19
     WHEREAS, An occasion such as this is an important milestone which   20
represents the dedication, commitment, and enduring faith of             21
generations of devoted people. For one hundred years, the members of     22
Trinity Baptist Church have kept their faith alive in the Greater        23
Columbus community, and, on this special anniversary, the congregation   24
has accepted the challenge of carrying its beliefs into the future;      25

As Offered
     RESOLVED, That we, the members of the House of Representatives of     27
the 135th General Assembly of Ohio, in adopting this Resolution,           28
congratulate Trinity Baptist Church on its One Hundredth Anniversary       29
and pay tribute to all those joining in the celebration of this joyous     30
event; and be it further                                                   31
     RESOLVED, That the Clerk of the House of Representatives transmit     32
a duly authenticated copy of this Resolution to Trinity Baptist            33
Church.                                                                    34
