                       A RESOLUTION
                       Honoring Chloe Dearwester
               as a 2024 OHSAA State Wrestling Champion.
     WHEREAS, The members of the House of Representatives of the 135th   1
General Assembly of Ohio are pleased to recognize Chloe Dearwester on    2
earning the 2024 Ohio High School Athletic Association State             3
Championship in girls wrestling in the 105-pound weight class; and       4
     WHEREAS, Displaying exceptional form, ability, leadership, and      5
dedication during the 2023-2024 season, Chloe Dearwester has certainly   6
distinguished herself as one of the most talented wrestlers in the       7
state and the most decorated student-athlete at William Henry Harrison   8
High School. A senior member of the Wildcats girls wrestling team, she   9
demonstrated her drive and skill by winning her fourth consecutive       10
state title this year, and her impressive 154-1 high school record is    11
praiseworthy; and                                                        12
     WHEREAS, Throughout intense training and preparation, Chloe         13
Dearwester has consistently exhibited the talent, integrity, and         14
motivation that are the hallmarks of a true champion. Indeed, she has    15
inspired her teammates, thrilled her fans, gained the respect of her     16
opponents, and made her family, her coaches, and her Wildcats            17
community very proud; and                                                18
     WHEREAS, Participation in wrestling has enabled Chloe Dearwester    19
to learn much about dedication, self-discipline, and leadership.         20
Commendably, she has revealed the skill, strength, and stamina that      21
befit a standout athlete, and it is no surprise that she has won so      22
many admirers. The remarkable skill and experience she has shown as a    23
wrestler will be of great benefit as she forges a bright, promising      24
future at Presbyterian College; therefore be it                          25

As Adopted by the House
     RESOLVED, That we, the members of the House of Representatives of     26
the 135th General Assembly of Ohio, in adopting this Resolution,           27
congratulate Chloe Dearwester as the 2024 Girls Wrestling State            28
Champion in girls wrestling in the 105-pound weight class and salute       29
her as a fine Ohio athlete; and be it further                              30
     RESOLVED, That the Clerk of the House of Representatives transmit     31
a duly authenticated copy of this Resolution to Chloe Dearwester.          32
