A RESOLUTION
Honoring the North Adams High School cheer team
as the 2024 Division 5 Building State Champion.
WHEREAS, The members of the House of Representatives of the 135th 1
General Assembly of Ohio are pleased to extend special recognition to 2
the North Adams High School cheer team on winning the Division 5 3
Building Championship at the 2024 Ohio Association of Secondary School 4
Administrators State Cheer Championships; and 5
WHEREAS, The talented athletes of the North Adams High School 6
cheer team are, indeed, to be commended for their remarkable fitness 7
and competitive drive, qualities that have figured prominently in 8
their impressive performance at this year’s OASSA State Cheer 9
Championship. To their credit, the members could always be counted on 10
to execute even the most demanding routines with agility, precision, 11
exuberance, and grace; and 12
WHEREAS, Under the expert guidance of their coaches, the members 13
of the North Adams High School cheer team have trained tirelessly in 14
order to ensure peak physical and mental conditioning, and their 15
exceptional prowess has earned them many admirers. Participation in 16
this sport has enabled them to learn much about creative expression, 17
discipline, and dedication, and clearly, the experience they have 18
acquired is certain to benefit them in the years to come; and 19
WHEREAS, Their enthusiastic spirit and love of sports has led all 20
those who comprise the North Adams High School cheer team to take part 21
in many activities, and they have served as an inspiration to their 22
peers. Their accomplishments are a justifiable source of pride and an 23
excellent reflection not only on them but also on their families, 24
their coaches, their school, and their community; therefore be it 25

RESOLVED, That we, the members of the House of Representatives of 26
the 135th General Assembly of Ohio, in adopting this Resolution, 27
applaud the North Adams High School cheer team for exemplary 28
achievement and extend best wishes for ongoing success; and be it 29
further 30
RESOLVED, That the Clerk of the House of Representatives transmit 31
a duly authenticated copy of this Resolution to the North Adams High 32
School cheer team. 33
