                       A RESOLUTION
                        Honoring Trevin Jordan
     as a 2024 Division I State Indoor Track and Field Champion.
     WHEREAS, The members of the House of Representatives of the 135th   1
General Assembly of Ohio are pleased to congratulate Trevin Jordan on    2
winning the 2024 OATCCC Division I State Indoor Track and Field          3
Championship in the shot put; and                                        4
     WHEREAS, A senior at Copley High School, Trevin Jordan has          5
combined talent and competitive spirit with the highest ideals of good   6
sportsmanship to establish himself as a truly exceptional young          7
athlete. With admirable dedication, he has worked diligently toward      8
attaining ultimate proficiency in track and field, and as a result, he   9
won first place in the shot put with a toss of 55 feet, 5.25 inches at   10
this year’s Division I State Indoor Meet, conducted by the Ohio          11
Association of Track and Cross Country Coaches; and                      12
     WHEREAS, Trevin Jordan’s accomplishments and leadership, both in    13
and out of competition, are a justifiable source of pride and a fine     14
reflection not only on him but also on his family, his teammates, his    15
coaches, his school, and his community. His unwavering commitment to     16
excellence has earned him the respect and esteem of many, and he is      17
certainly worthy of high praise; and                                     18
     WHEREAS, With athletic competition playing such an important role   19
in the total education of our young people, we are extremely pleased     20
to pay tribute to Trevin Jordan on an exemplary season. Indeed, the      21
same maturity and experience he has gained through his participation     22
in track and field will greatly aid him in meeting the challenges of     23
the future; therefore be it                                              24
    RESOLVED, That we, the members of the House of Representatives of    25

the 135th General Assembly of Ohio, in adopting this Resolution,           26
commend Trevin Jordan as a 2024 Division I State Indoor Track and          27
Field Champion and extend best wishes for continued success; and be it     28

     RESOLVED, That the Clerk of the House of Representatives transmit     30
a duly authenticated copy of this Resolution to Trevin Jordan.             31
