DETAILED ANALYSIS
The bill designates the following bridge and authorizes the Director of Transportation to
erect suitable markers on the bridge or its approaches indicating its name:
Designated Name “SSgt Gene F. Morrison Memorial Bridge”1
Highway The bridge spanning Indian Creek immediately outside the municipal
corporation of Versailles and known as part of State Route 47, in Darke
County.
Other Information United States Marine Corps SSgt Gene F. Morrison died on June 3, 1968, while
serving in Vietnam.
