A RESOLUTION
To request that the President of the United States 1
and the United States Congress propose 2
legislation or administrative rules to prohibit 3
non-U.S. citizens from being counted in the 2030 4
census. 5
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE SENATE OF THE STATE OF OHIO:
WHEREAS, The United States Constitution vests the right to 6
vote only in citizens of the United States; and 7
WHEREAS, Tens of millions of illegal immigrants have 8
entered the United States, primarily through the southern 9
border; and 10
WHEREAS, The President of the United States has abdicated 11
his responsibility to provide for the public safety and to 12
defend the United States from subversion, both foreign and 13
domestic; and 14
WHEREAS, The immigration policies of the Biden 15
administration are likely to allow for and encourage the 16
continued invasion from illegal immigrants; and 17
WHEREAS, These policies have been conducted without regard 18
to health status or criminal records investigations; and 19

WHEREAS, Allowing millions of illegal immigrants entrance 20
into the United States is likely to result in these persons 21
being counted in the next U.S. census; and 22
WHEREAS, The next U.S. census will determine the number of 23
seats in the U.S. House of Representatives and the consequential 24
number of electoral votes; and 25
WHEREAS, Counting noncitizen, illegal immigrants would 26
dilute the value of votes of U.S. citizens and would unfairly 27
provide representation for those who are not U.S. citizens; and 28
WHEREAS, The policy of the United States of America should 29
reflect that non-U.S. citizens be excluded from being counted 30
and that the census forms utilized ask the question regarding 31
citizenship status; now therefore be it 32
RESOLVED, That we, the members of the Senate of the 135th 33
General Assembly of the State of Ohio, request that President 34
Joseph R. Biden, Speaker of the U.S. House of Representatives 35
Mike Johnson, and U.S. Senate Majority Leader Chuck Schumer 36
propose legislation or administrative rules that will disallow 37
non-U.S. citizens from being counted in the 2030 census; and be 38
it further 39
RESOLVED, That the Clerk of the Senate transmit duly 40
authenticated copies of this resolution to the President of the 41
United States, the Speaker of the United States House of 42
Representatives, the Majority Leader of the United States 43
Senate, the members of Ohio's congressional delegation, and the 44
news media of Ohio. 45
