A RESOLUTION
Honoring the Brecksville-Broadview Heights High School gymnastic team
as the 2024 State Champion.
WHEREAS, The members of the House of Representatives of the 135th 1
General Assembly of Ohio are pleased to congratulate the Brecksville- 2
Broadview Heights High School gymnastic team on winning the 2024 State 3
Championship; and 4
WHEREAS, A remarkable group of young athletes, the members of the 5
Brecksville-Broadview Heights High School gymnastic team have combined 6
talent and spirit with the highest ideals of good sportsmanship to 7
establish themselves as truly exceptional competitors. With admirable 8
dedication, the Bees have worked diligently toward attaining ultimate 9
proficiency in gymnastics, and as a result, they secured their twenty- 10
first consecutive State Championship title; and 11
WHEREAS, The Bees’ achievements and leadership are a justifiable 12
source of pride and an excellent reflection on the gymnasts, their 13
families, their school, their community, and their coach, Maria 14
Schneider. In leading her team to victory, Coach Schneider has not 15
only helped the athletes to develop their talents to the fullest but 16
also instilled in each a valuable sense of determination, 17
perseverance, and camaraderie; and 18
WHEREAS, With athletic competition playing such an important role 19
in the total education of our young people, we are extremely pleased 20
to pay tribute to these exemplary athletes and their outstanding coach 21
for a job well done. The maturity and experience the team members have 22
gained through their participation in sports will greatly aid them in 23
meeting the challenges of the future; therefore be it 24
RESOLVED, That we, the members of the House of Representatives of 25

the 135th General Assembly of Ohio, in adopting this Resolution, 26
commend the Brecksville-Broadview Heights High School gymnastic team 27
on its tremendous season and salute the members and coach as some of 28
Ohio’s finest citizens; and be it further 29
RESOLVED, That the Clerk of the House of Representatives transmit 30
a duly authenticated copy of this Resolution to the Brecksville- 31
Broadview Heights High School gymnastic team. 32
