A RESOLUTION
Honoring the Olmsted Falls High School girls basketball team
as the 2024 Division I State Champion.
WHEREAS, The members of the House of Representatives of the 135th 1
General Assembly of Ohio are pleased to pay tribute to the Olmsted 2
Falls High School girls basketball team on securing the 2024 Division 3
I State Championship; and 4
WHEREAS, The talented Olmsted Falls High School girls basketball 5
team is to be heartily commended for decisively earning this year’s 6
Division I State Championship. Indeed, the squad’s outstanding 7
performance embodied the collective effort of this gifted group of 8
athletes, and the team’s adherence to a demanding regimen has paid 9
handsome dividends as it beat a tough Springboro team by a score of 10
52-45 to secure its first state title in program history; and 11
WHEREAS, The members of the Olmsted Falls High School girls 12
basketball team have epitomized the power, poise, and precision that 13
befit true champions, and in following the esteemed leadership of 14
their coach, Jordan Eaton, they have risen to the occasion through 15
demonstrating consistent growth in skill and unflagging determination 16
for success. Truly, they have earned widespread respect, even among 17
their most formidable rivals, and they have excelled by exhibiting 18
strength, stamina, and morale in every challenging encounter; and 19
WHEREAS, By prevailing over a host of adversaries, the members of 20
the Olmsted Falls High School girls basketball team have learned much 21
about weathering a rigorous schedule through dedication, self- 22
discipline, leadership, and perseverance. Their first-place finish at 23
the 2024 Division I State Championship is a measure of their stalwart 24
commitment to the sport, and the Bulldogs’ indomitable spirit has made 25
their families, friends, and coaches incredibly proud; therefore be it 26

RESOLVED, That we, the members of the House of Representatives of 27
the 135th General Assembly of Ohio, in adopting this Resolution, 28
congratulate the Olmsted Falls High School girls basketball team on 29
its brilliant 2023-2024 season and wish its members and coaches 30
continued success in all of their future endeavors; and be it further 31
RESOLVED, That the Clerk of the House of Representatives transmit 32
a duly authenticated copy of this Resolution to the Olmsted Falls High 33
School girls basketball team. 34
