                       A RESOLUTION
          Honoring Brodie Dominique as the 2024 Division III
       State Wrestling Champion in the 144-pound weight class.
     WHEREAS, The members of the House of Representatives of the 135th    1
General Assembly of Ohio are pleased to honor Brodie Dominique, a         2
student at Archbold High School, on winning the 2024 Division III         3
State Wrestling Championship in the 144-pound weight class; and           4
     WHEREAS, Brodie Dominique’s outstanding ability and spirited         5
drive, as well as his quickness and tenacity, have distinguished him      6
as a superior athlete, and during the season, he has gained the           7
admiration and respect of all those who have witnessed him in action.     8
His tremendous efforts were readily reflected in his fantastic            9
performance throughout the Division III State Tournament, where he won    10
his second straight championship; and                                     11
     WHEREAS, Few sports embody the spirit of individual accomplishment   12
more than wrestling. Athletes such as Brodie Dominique exemplify the      13
qualities necessary for excellence in any sport, including discipline,    14
agility, conditioning, and focus. Indeed, throughout long hours of        15
practice and competition, he has consistently demonstrated the talent     16
and motivation that are the hallmarks of a true champion; and             17
     WHEREAS, Through his participation in sports, Brodie Dominique has   18
learned lessons of perseverance, hard work, and fair and honest           19
competition that will undoubtedly be of great benefit to him              20
throughout his lifetime. He has inspired his teammates, thrilled his      21
fans, gained the respect of his opponents, and made his coaches and       22
family very proud; therefore be it                                        23
     RESOLVED, That we, the members of the House of Representatives of    24
the 135th General Assembly of Ohio, in adopting this Resolution,          25

congratulate Brodie Dominique on his outstanding performance in state      26
competition and offer best wishes for the future; and be it further        27
     RESOLVED, That the Clerk of the House of Representatives transmit     28
a duly authenticated copy of this Resolution to Brodie Dominique.          29
