                       A RESOLUTION
  Honoring the Stark Public Royal Knights basketball team on winning
 the 2024 Ohio Special Olympics Winter Games Division 3 Championship.
     WHEREAS, The members of the House of Representatives of the 135th    1
General Assembly of Ohio are pleased to commend the Stark Public Royal    2
Knights basketball team as the 2024 Ohio Special Olympics Winter Games    3
Division 3 Champions; and                                                 4
     WHEREAS, Known as a driven and spirited squad, the members of the    5
Stark Public Royal Knights basketball team have developed into an         6
accomplished group of athletes whose talent is equaled only by their      7
admirable display of teamwork. Without exception, they had prepared       8
conscientiously in pursuit of the championship, devoting countless        9
hours to training and practice in order to ensure peak conditioning;      10
and                                                                       11
     WHEREAS, The members of the Stark Public Royal Knights basketball    12
team have demonstrated remarkable energy, enthusiasm, and dedication      13
in all of their endeavors. Indeed, they have epitomized the motivation    14
and poise that befit authentic champions, and as a result, they           15
defeated a tough Marion County Hawks team by the score of 52-27 to win    16
this year’s Ohio Special Olympics Winter Games Division 3 Championship    17
title; and                                                                18
     WHEREAS, Each athlete on the Stark Public Royal Knights basketball   19
team has exemplified the qualities necessary for excellence both in       20
and out of sports. Through their participation in competition, these      21
fine players have learned lessons of hard work and good sportsmanship     22
that will undoubtedly be of great benefit to them throughout their        23
lives; therefore be it                                                    24
    RESOLVED, That we, the members of the House of Representatives of     25

As Offered
the 135th General Assembly of Ohio, in adopting this Resolution,           26
applaud the Stark Public Royal Knights basketball team on its success      27
and extend best wishes for the future; and be it further                   28
     RESOLVED, That the Clerk of the House of Representatives transmit     29
a duly authenticated copy of this Resolution to the Stark Public Royal     30
Knights basketball team.                                                   31
