                       A RESOLUTION
                       Honoring Rejan Al-Hashash
                  as a 2024 State Wrestling Champion.
     WHEREAS, The members of the House of Representatives of the 135th   1
General Assembly of Ohio are pleased to congratulate Rejan Al-Hashash    2
on winning the 2024 Girls Wrestling State Championship in the 140-       3
pound weight class; and                                                  4
     WHEREAS, A student at Avon Lake High School, Rejan Al-Hashash has   5
combined talent and competitive spirit with the highest ideals of good   6
sportsmanship to establish herself as a truly exceptional young          7
athlete. With admirable dedication, she has worked diligently toward     8
attaining ultimate proficiency in wrestling, and as a result, she        9
outscored her challenger from Gahanna Lincoln High School 14-10 to       10
secure the State Championship title in the 140-pound weight class this   11
season; and                                                              12
     WHEREAS, Rejan Al-Hashash’s accomplishments and leadership, both    13
in and out of competition, are a justifiable source of pride and an      14
outstanding reflection not only on her but also on her family, her       15
teammates, her coaches, her school, and her community. Her unwavering    16
commitment to excellence has earned her the respect and esteem of        17
many, and she is certainly worthy of high praise; and                    18
     WHEREAS, With athletic competition playing such an important role   19
in the total education of our young people, we are overjoyed to pay      20
tribute to Rejan Al-Hashash on an exemplary season. Indeed, the same     21
maturity and experience she has gained through her participation in      22
wrestling will greatly aid her in meeting the challenges of the          23
future; therefore be it                                                  24
    RESOLVED, That we, the members of the House of Representatives of    25

As Offered
the 135th General Assembly of Ohio, in adopting this Resolution,           26
commend Rejan Al-Hashash as a 2024 State Wrestling Champion and salute     27
her as one of Ohio’s finest citizens; and be it further                    28
     RESOLVED, That the Clerk of the House of Representatives transmit     29
a duly authenticated copy of this Resolution to Rejan Al-Hashash.          30
