                       A RESOLUTION
                        Honoring Isabella Pfeil
              as a 2024 Division I State Diving Champion.
     WHEREAS, The members of the House of Representatives of the 135th   1
General Assembly of Ohio are pleased to congratulate Isabella Pfeil on   2
winning the 2024 Division I State Championship in 1-meter diving; and    3
     WHEREAS, A senior at Avon Lake High School, Isabella Pfeil has      4
combined talent and competitive spirit with the highest ideals of good   5
sportsmanship to establish herself as a truly exceptional young          6
athlete. With admirable dedication, she has worked diligently toward     7
attaining ultimate proficiency in diving, and as a result, she won       8
this year’s Division I State title in 1-meter diving with a score of     9
454.35, becoming Lorain County’s first-ever state champion in diving;    10

     WHEREAS, Isabella Pfeil’s accomplishments and leadership, both in   12
and out of competition, are a justifiable source of pride and a fine     13
reflection not only on her but also on her family, her teammates, her    14
coaches, her school, and her community. Her unwavering commitment to     15
excellence has earned her the respect and esteem of many, and she is     16
certainly worthy of high praise; and                                     17
     WHEREAS, With athletic competition playing such an important role   18
in the total education of our young people, we are extremely pleased     19
to pay tribute to Isabella Pfeil on an exemplary season. Indeed, the     20
same maturity and experience she has gained through her participation    21
in diving will greatly aid her in meeting the challenges of the          22
future; therefore be it                                                  23
     RESOLVED, That we, the members of the House of Representatives of   24
the 135th General Assembly of Ohio, in adopting this Resolution,         25

commend Isabella Pfeil on her 2024 Division I State Championship and       26
extend best wishes for continued success; and be it further                27
     RESOLVED, That the Clerk of the House of Representatives transmit     28
a duly authenticated copy of this Resolution to Isabella Pfeil.            29
