                       A RESOLUTION
                     Honoring Perry County Transit
        as the 2023 National Small Transit System of the Year.
     WHEREAS, The members of the House of Representatives of the 135th   1
General Assembly of Ohio are pleased to extend special recognition to    2
Perry County Transit on being named the 2023 National Small Transit      3
System of the Year by the Community Transportation Association of        4
America; and                                                             5
     WHEREAS, The accomplishments of Perry County Transit are a          6
justifiable source of pride and an excellent reflection not only on      7
the organization itself but also on its leaders and members. Indeed,     8
these fine Ohioans have worked diligently to help people get to where    9
they need to go, and they merit praise for their outstanding             10
commitment to offering curb-to-curb demand response shared ride          11
transportation services; and                                             12
     WHEREAS, Since its inception, Perry County Transit has enhanced     13
the quality of life within the area, and its exemplary work has earned   14
it the gratitude and respect of the citizens it has so capably           15
transported. We are certain that as this fine agency maintains its       16
unfaltering dedication to service, it will continue in the tradition     17
of excellence that has become its hallmark; and                          18
     WHEREAS, All those associated with Perry County Transit are to be   19
commended for their foresight, dedication, and selfless donations of     20
time, energy, and ability far beyond what was required or expected.      21
They have gained the esteem and admiration of many and have set an       22
example of concerned and responsible citizenship worthy of emulation;    23
therefore be it                                                          24
    RESOLVED, That we, the members of the House of Representatives of    25

the 135th General Assembly of Ohio, in adopting this Resolution,           26
congratulate Perry County Transit on its recent accolade and extend        27
best wishes for ongoing success; and be it further                         28
     RESOLVED, That the Clerk of the House of Representatives transmit     29
a duly authenticated copy of this Resolution to Perry County Transit.      30
