                       A RESOLUTION
                  Honoring the Barberton Rotary Club
                   on its One Hundredth Anniversary.
     WHEREAS, The members of the House of Representatives of the 135th   1
General Assembly of Ohio are pleased to applaud the Barberton Rotary     2
Club on the celebration of its Centennial, February 29, 2024; and        3
     WHEREAS, A one hundredth anniversary is a distinctive milestone,    4
and it affords the opportunity to acknowledge the remarkable             5
philanthropic work done by the Barberton Rotary Club. An outstanding     6
affiliate of Rotary International, the organization has a long and       7
distinguished history of civic service, including supporting such        8
projects as the playground at McCafferty Park, the sensory room and      9
outdoor equipment storage shed at Barberton Preschool, the disc golf     10
course at Tuscarawas Park, and the signage on the Towpath Trail, and     11
through its numerous initiatives, it has helped shape a brighter         12
future; and                                                              13
     WHEREAS, The diligent efforts of people such as those affiliated    14
with the Barberton Rotary Club, both past and present, are one of many   15
reasons that the State of Ohio continues to grow and prosper. Through    16
their involvement with various beneficial programs and activities, the   17
members of this praiseworthy group have not only had the chance to       18
express their personal talents and skills, but they have also helped     19
to better the lives of those around them; and                            20
     WHEREAS, The many individuals who have supported the Barberton      21
Rotary Club are, indeed, to be commended for their foresight,            22
dedication, and selfless donations of time, energy, and ability far      23
beyond what was required or expected. These fine Ohioans have            24
displayed initiative and concern for others, and they have left a        25
lasting impact on the area; therefore be it                              26

As Offered
     RESOLVED, That we, the members of the House of Representatives of     27
the 135th General Assembly of Ohio, in adopting this Resolution, pay       28
tribute to the Barberton Rotary Club on its Centennial and offer best      29
wishes for the years to come; and be it further                            30
     RESOLVED, That the Clerk of the House of Representatives transmit     31
a duly authenticated copy of this Resolution to Barberton Rotary Club.     32
