                       A RESOLUTION
         Honoring the Pleasant High School boys bowling team
         on winning the 2024 Division II State Championship.
     WHEREAS, The members of the House of Representatives of the 135th   1
General Assembly of Ohio are pleased to congratulate the Pleasant High   2
School boys bowling team as the 2024 Division II State Champion; and     3
     WHEREAS, The Pleasant High School boys bowling team is comprised    4
of excellent athletes who have collectively worked to showcase the       5
talents of their exceptional squad. The Spartans trained with            6
intention and combined the stamina of a young fleet of bowlers with      7
the drive of a seasoned group of leaders to defeat a tough Coventry      8
High School team with a 3-0 score to claim this year’s Division II       9
State Championship. Time and again, they have risen to the occasion,     10
amply demonstrating their unflagging determination, and their            11
impressive maturity and finesse have gained them widespread respect,     12
even among their most daunting rivals. They are certainly deserving of   13
this crown; and                                                          14
     WHEREAS, This triumph reflects the staunch resolve of these young   15
men, and it signifies the acquisition of valuable experience that is     16
sure to benefit them in later life. Thanks in part to the tireless       17
efforts of an exceptional coaching staff, including Coach Bill Ludwig,   18
and the support of their community, the members of the Pleasant High     19
School boys bowling team have met the demands of an extensive training   20
regimen that has certainly paid handsome dividends; and                  21
     WHEREAS, All those who comprise the Pleasant High School boys       22
bowling team have set themselves apart as an excellent example of what   23
a dedicated group of bowlers can achieve when guided by a committed      24
coaching staff and surrounded by loyal fans, sports families, and        25
boosters. Throughout the season, these young men have developed into a   26

group of dynamic athletic leaders, and they can rest assured that as       27
they meet their future challenges, they will take with them the            28
lessons of camaraderie, hard work, and discipline; therefore be it         29
     RESOLVED, That we, the members of the House of Representatives of     30
the 135th General Assembly of Ohio, in adopting this Resolution,           31
applaud the Pleasant High School boys bowling team on its 2024             32
Division II State Championship title and extend best wishes for            33
ongoing success; and be it further                                         34
     RESOLVED, That the Clerk of the House of Representatives transmit     35
a duly authenticated copy of this Resolution to Pleasant High School       36
boys bowling team.                                                         37
