                       A RESOLUTION
            Honoring the Cambridge Lions Club on its One Hundredth
              Anniversary.
     WHEREAS, The members of the Senate of the 135th General Assembly     1
of Ohio are pleased to congratulate the Cambridge Lions Club on the       2
auspicious occasion of its Centennial; and                                3
     WHEREAS, Recognition of this prestigious milestone is a fitting      4
tribute to the Cambridge Lions Club, for throughout the past century,     5
it has achieved a remarkable record of service to the area. Since it      6
was chartered on December 23, 1924, the club has fostered an ideal of     7
service and high ethical standards, and it has conducted and              8
participated in countless projects locally, nationally, and               9
internationally. The accomplishments of the organization are a            10
justifiable source of pride and an outstanding reflection not only on     11
the group itself but also on its dedicated members, both past and         12
present, and on the entire community; and                                 13
     WHEREAS, Over the years, the Cambridge Lions Club has enhanced the   14
quality of life within the surrounding area, and through its generous     15
contributions, it has earned the respect and gratitude of the many        16
citizens it has so capably served. We are certain that as this worthy     17
association maintains its unfaltering commitment to service, it will      18
continue in the tradition of excellence that has been the hallmark of     19
the club since its establishment; and                                     20
     WHEREAS, We are proud to note that it is through the unceasing       21
efforts of organizations such as the Cambridge Lions Club that Ohio       22
has gained a reputation as a state that is responsive to the needs of     23
its citizens and has remained a pleasant place in which to live and       24
work. The club is truly deserving of high praise; therefore be it         25

As Introduced
     RESOLVED, That we, the members of the Senate of the 135th General        26
Assembly of Ohio, in adopting this Resolution, commend the Cambridge          27
Lions Club on its One Hundredth Anniversary and offer best wishes for         28
the future; and be it further                                                 29
     RESOLVED, That the Clerk of the Senate transmit a duly                   30
authenticated copy of this Resolution to the Cambridge Lions Club.            31
