A RESOLUTION
Honoring Brogan Tucker
as a 2024 Division II State Champion in wrestling.
WHEREAS, The members of the House of Representatives of the 135th 1
General Assembly of Ohio are pleased to commend Brogan Tucker on 2
winning the 2024 Division II State Championship in boys wrestling in 3
the 144-pound weight class; and 4
WHEREAS, A diligent and capable individual, Brogan Tucker is 5
deserving of recognition for his exemplary accomplishments as a member 6
of the Graham High School boys wrestling team. An exceptional athlete, 7
he won first place in the 144-pound weight class at this year’s 8
Division II State Tournament, his third consecutive title, and his 9
noteworthy record of personal achievement stands as a hallmark for 10
others; and 11
WHEREAS, Through his participation in wrestling, Brogan Tucker has 12
learned important lessons of discipline, perseverance, hard work, and 13
good sportsmanship that will undoubtedly be of great benefit to him 14
throughout his life. Through his outstanding efforts, he has inspired 15
countless people to excel in various areas of endeavor, and he has set 16
an example worthy of emulation; and 17
WHEREAS, In a society that seeks to teach the future leaders of 18
our state and nation the fundamentals of self-reliance and the rewards 19
of individual effort, athletic competition has become a valuable 20
educational tool. With sports contributing to the development of 21
countless youth, we are happy to congratulate such a fine wrestler as 22
Brogan Tucker; therefore be it 23
RESOLVED, That we, the members of the House of Representatives of 24
the 135th General Assembly of Ohio, in adopting this Resolution, 25

applaud Brogan Tucker on his Division II State Wrestling Championship 26
and extend best wishes for continued success; and be it further 27
RESOLVED, That the Clerk of the House of Representatives transmit 28
a duly authenticated copy of this Resolution to Brogan Tucker. 29
