                       A RESOLUTION
                         Honoring Teresa Ruby
  on her induction into the 2024 Ohio High School Fastpitch Softball
                   Coaches Association Hall of Fame.
     WHEREAS, The members of the House of Representatives of the 135th   1
General Assembly of Ohio are pleased to congratulate Teresa Ruby on      2
being selected as a 2024 inductee of the Ohio High School Fastpitch      3
Softball Coaches Association Hall of Fame; and                           4
     WHEREAS, Teresa Ruby is, indeed, deserving of this prestigious      5
honor, which has been accorded to her in recognition of her numerous     6
accomplishments as a head coach at Clay, Portsmouth, and Wheelersburg    7
High schools. Across twenty-seven years of coaching, she has amassed     8
488 wins, which includes twenty-three sectional, fifteen district,       9
seven regional, and three state titles. Indeed, she left an indelible    10
impact not only as a leader but also as a mentor, and she is an          11
inspiration for future generations to emulate; and                       12
     WHEREAS, Teresa Ruby’s exceptional record of personal and           13
professional achievement stands as a hallmark worthy of emulation, and   14
she has inspired countless individuals to excel in numerous areas of     15
endeavor. As a coach, she has demonstrated remarkable energy,            16
enthusiasm, and dedication in leading her teams to victory, and in so    17
doing, she not only has encouraged her players to develop their          18
talents to the fullest, but she has also instilled in them a valuable    19
sense of determination, perseverance, camaraderie, and school spirit;    20

     WHEREAS, The respect and admiration that Teresa Ruby has earned     22
throughout her lifetime are evident in her induction into the Ohio       23
High School Fastpitch Softball Coaches Association Hall of Fame. Her     24

achievements and leadership are a justifiable source of pride and an       25
excellent reflection not only on her but also on her family, her           26
players, and her community; therefore be it                                27
     RESOLVED, That we, the members of the House of Representatives of     28
the 135th General Assembly of Ohio, in adopting this Resolution,           29
commend Teresa Ruby on being inducted into the 2024 Ohio High School       30
Fastpitch Softball Coaches Association Hall of Fame and extend best        31
wishes for continued achievement; and be it further                        32
     RESOLVED, That the Clerk of the House of Representatives transmit     33
a duly authenticated copy of this Resolution to Teresa Ruby.               34
