                       A RESOLUTION
              Honoring the St. Ursula Academy dance team
              as the 2024 OASSA Large Pom State Champion.
     WHEREAS, The members of the House of Representatives of the 135th   1
General Assembly of Ohio are pleased to extend special recognition to    2
the St. Ursula Academy dance team on winning the Large Pom               3
Championship at the 2024 Ohio Association of Secondary School            4
Administrators State Dance Championships; and                            5
     WHEREAS, The talented athletes of the St. Ursula Academy dance      6
team are, indeed, to be commended for their remarkable fitness and       7
competitive drive, qualities that have figured prominently in the        8
squad’s impressive performance at this year’s OASSA State Dance          9
Championships, including placing first in the large pom category and     10
second in the large jazz category. To their credit, the members could    11
always be counted on to execute even the most demanding routines with    12
agility, precision, exuberance, and grace; and                           13
     WHEREAS, Under the expert guidance of their coaches, the members    14
of the St. Ursula Academy dance team have trained tirelessly in order    15
to ensure peak physical and mental conditioning, and their exceptional   16
prowess has earned them many admirers. Participation in this sport has   17
enabled them to learn much about creative expression, discipline, and    18
dedication, and clearly, the experience they have acquired is certain    19
to benefit them in the years to come; and                                20
     WHEREAS, Their enthusiastic spirit and love of sports has led all   21
those who comprise the St. Ursula Academy dance team to take part in     22
many activities, and they have served as an inspiration to their         23
peers. Their accomplishments are a justifiable source of pride and an    24
excellent reflection not only on them but also on their families,        25
their coaches, their school, and their community; therefore be it        26

As Offered
     RESOLVED, That we, the members of the House of Representatives of     27
the 135th General Assembly of Ohio, in adopting this Resolution,           28
applaud the St. Ursula Academy dance team for exemplary achievement        29
and extend best wishes for ongoing success; and be it further              30
     RESOLVED, That the Clerk of the House of Representatives transmit     31
a duly authenticated copy of this Resolution to the St. Ursula Academy     32
dance team.                                                                33
