                       A RESOLUTION
                        Honoring Savannah Isaac
       on winning a 2024 State Championship in girls wrestling.
     WHEREAS, The members of the House of Representatives of the 135th   1
General Assembly of Ohio are pleased to commend Savannah Isaac as the    2
2024 State Champion in girls wrestling in the 190-pound weight class;    3
and                                                                      4
     WHEREAS, A diligent and capable individual, Savannah Isaac is       5
deserving of recognition for her exemplary accomplishments as a senior   6
member of the Whitmer High School girls wrestling team. An exceptional   7
athlete, she pinned a tough opponent from Findlay High School to win     8
this year’s state championship in the 190-pound weight class, her        9
fourth state title, and her noteworthy record of personal achievement    10
stands as a hallmark for others; and                                     11
     WHEREAS, Through her participation in wrestling, Savannah Isaac     12
has learned important lessons of discipline, perseverance, hard work,    13
and good sportsmanship that will undoubtedly be of great benefit to      14
her throughout her life. Through her outstanding efforts, she has        15
inspired countless people to excel in various areas of endeavor, and     16
she has set an example worthy of emulation; and                          17
     WHEREAS, In a society that seeks to teach the future leaders of     18
our state and nation the fundamentals of self-reliance and the rewards   19
of individual effort, athletic competition has become a valuable         20
educational tool. With sports contributing to the development of         21
countless youth, we are happy to congratulate such a fine athlete as     22
Savannah Isaac; therefore be it                                          23
     RESOLVED, That we, the members of the House of Representatives of   24
the 135th General Assembly of Ohio, in adopting this Resolution,         25

applaud Savannah Isaac on her 2024 State Championship and extend best      26
wishes for continued success; and be it further                            27
     RESOLVED, That the Clerk of the House of Representatives transmit     28
a duly authenticated copy of this Resolution to Savannah Isaac.            29
