A RESOLUTION
Honoring Dylan Halm on being named a 2023 All-American in
boys soccer.
WHEREAS, The members of the Senate of the 135th General Assembly 1
of Ohio are pleased to celebrate Dylan Halm as a 2023 All-American in 2
boys soccer; and 3
WHEREAS, A diligent and capable individual, Dylan Halm is 4
deserving of acknowledgement for his exemplary accomplishments as a 5
senior member of the Revere High School boys soccer team. An 6
exceptional athlete, he put together a fantastic season and helped the 7
Minutemen advance to the state championship and place second, and his 8
noteworthy record of personal achievement stands as a hallmark for 9
others to emulate; and 10
WHEREAS, Through his participation in soccer, Dylan Halm has 11
learned important lessons of discipline, perseverance, hard work, and 12
good sportsmanship that will undoubtedly be of great benefit to him 13
throughout his life. Through his outstanding efforts, he has inspired 14
countless people to excel in various areas of endeavor, and he has set 15
an example worthy of recognition; and 16
WHEREAS, In a society that seeks to teach the future leaders of 17
our state and nation the fundamentals of self-reliance and the rewards 18
of individual effort, athletic competition has become a valuable 19
educational tool. With sports playing such an important part in the 20
development of our young people, we are extremely pleased to pay 21
tribute to such a fine athlete as Dylan Halm; therefore be it 22
RESOLVED, That we, the members of the Senate of the 135th General 23
Assembly of Ohio, in adopting this Resolution, pay tribute to Dylan 24
Halm on his brilliant 2023 season and offer best wishes for continued 25

success; and be it further 26
RESOLVED, That the Clerk of the Senate transmit a duly 27
authenticated copy of this Resolution to Dylan Halm. 28
