A RESOLUTION
Honoring the Chillicothe Veterans Affairs Medical Center
on its Centennial.
WHEREAS, The members of the House of Representatives of the 135th 1
General Assembly of Ohio are pleased to congratulate the Chillicothe 2
Veterans Affairs Medical Center on the auspicious occasion of its One 3
Hundredth Anniversary, commemorated June 1, 2024; and 4
WHEREAS, Recognition of this prestigious milestone is a fitting 5
tribute to the Chillicothe Veterans Affairs Medical Center, for 6
throughout the past one hundred years, this outstanding medical 7
facility has attained a remarkable record of service to the area. 8
Founded in 1924, this fine institution has made a tremendous 9
difference in the lives of innumerable veterans, and it continues to 10
inspire the trust, confidence, admiration, and superb quality for 11
which it has become known; and 12
WHEREAS, The success of the Chillicothe Veterans Affairs Medical 13
Center is a justifiable source of pride and an outstanding reflection 14
not only on the organization itself but also on its astute management 15
and hard-working employees. Due to their vision and initiative, this 16
respected institution has earned the gratitude and appreciation of 17
many satisfied patients and their families, and it is truly deserving 18
of high praise; and 19
WHEREAS, Over the years, the Chillicothe Veterans Affairs Medical 20
Center has represented a lasting investment in caring for our state’s 21
veterans. We are certain that as this worthy enterprise maintains its 22
dedication to service and achievement, it will continue to provide 23
quality medical care to the important individuals who have served our 24
country and will uphold the tradition of excellence that has long been 25
its hallmark; therefore be it 26

RESOLVED, That we, the members of the House of Representatives of 27
the 135th General Assembly of Ohio, in adopting this Resolution, 28
commend the Chillicothe Veterans Affairs Medical Center on its One 29
Hundredth Anniversary and offer best wishes for the future; and be it 30
further 31
RESOLVED, That the Clerk of the House of Representatives transmit 32
a duly authenticated copy of this Resolution to the Chillicothe 33
Veterans Affairs Medical Center. 34
