                       A RESOLUTION
            Honoring the Pleasant High School boys bowling team as the
              2024 Division II State Champion.
     WHEREAS, The members of the Senate of the 135th General Assembly    1
of Ohio are pleased to congratulate the Pleasant High School boys        2
bowling team on winning the 2024 Division II State Championship; and     3
     WHEREAS, A remarkable group of young athletes, the members of the   4
Pleasant High School boys bowling team have combined talent and spirit   5
with the highest ideals of good sportsmanship to establish themselves    6
as truly exceptional competitors. With admirable dedication, the         7
Spartans have worked diligently toward attaining ultimate proficiency    8
in bowling, and as a result, they defeated a tough Coventry team to      9
secure this year’s Division II State Championship title; and             10
     WHEREAS, The Spartans’ achievements and leadership are a            11
justifiable source of pride and an excellent reflection on the           12
players, their families, their school, their community, and their        13
coach, Bill Ludwig. In leading his team to victory, Coach Ludwig has     14
not only helped the athletes to develop their talents to the fullest     15
but also instilled in them a valuable sense of determination,            16
perseverance, and camaraderie; and                                       17
     WHEREAS, With athletic competition playing such an important role   18
in the total education of our young people, we are extremely pleased     19
to pay tribute to these exemplary athletes and their outstanding coach   20
for a job well done. The maturity and experience the team members have   21
gained through their participation in sports will greatly aid them in    22
meeting the challenges of the future; therefore be it                    23
     RESOLVED, That we, the members of the Senate of the 135th General   24
Assembly of Ohio, in adopting this Resolution, commend the Pleasant      25

High School boys bowling team on its tremendous season and salute the      26
members and coach as some of Ohio’s finest citizens; and be it further     27
     RESOLVED, That the Clerk of the Senate transmit a duly                28
authenticated copy of this Resolution to the Pleasant High School boys     29
bowling team.                                                              30
