A RESOLUTION
Honoring McCready Interiors/Norwalk The Furniture Idea on
its Centennial.
WHEREAS, The members of the Senate of the 135th General Assembly 1
of Ohio are pleased to congratulate McCready Interiors/Norwalk The 2
Furniture Idea on its One Hundredth Anniversary; and 3
WHEREAS, McCready Interiors/Norwalk The Furniture Idea is worthy 4
of acknowledgement for its exemplary service over the past one hundred 5
years. In 1924, W.G. McCready opened his first furniture store in 6
Downtown Mansfield, and today, from its current location in Ontario, 7
the fourth-generation family-owned business has become known for 8
offering custom-order upholstery and exemplary furniture. Indeed, its 9
commitment to the best interests of its customers has been clearly 10
evident; and 11
WHEREAS, Throughout the past century, McCready Interiors/Norwalk 12
The Furniture Idea has established a solid foundation of superior 13
services upon which it can continue to grow and prosper. The company 14
has set a sterling example of responsible business practices, gaining 15
the respect and admiration of many, and it is certainly deserving of 16
applause; and 17
WHEREAS, This special milestone offers all those associated with 18
McCready Interiors/Norwalk The Furniture Idea a unique opportunity to 19
reflect on the success of the past and to look with optimism to the 20
future. Through the hard work, dedication, and dependability of each 21
employee, as well as through the business acumen and leadership 22
ability of the McCready family, this fine enterprise has become a 23
valuable part of the community, contributing greatly to the area’s 24
economic well-being; therefore be it 25

RESOLVED, That we, the members of the Senate of the 135th General 26
Assembly of Ohio, in adopting this Resolution, commend McCready 27
Interiors/Norwalk The Furniture Idea on its Centennial and extend best 28
wishes for the years to come; and be it further 29
RESOLVED, That the Clerk of the Senate transmit a duly 30
authenticated copy of this Resolution to McCready Interiors/Norwalk 31
