A RESOLUTION
Honoring the City of Findlay as the 2023 Top Micropolitan
in the U.S.
WHEREAS, The members of the Senate of the 135th General Assembly 1
of Ohio are pleased to extend special recognition to the City of 2
Findlay on being named the 2023 Top Micropolitan by Site Selection 3
Magazine; and 4
WHEREAS, For the tenth consecutive year, the City of Findlay has 5
achieved this honor, and congratulations are truly in order. Indeed, 6
considerable time and energy have been invested into local business 7
and industry projects, and we are certain that as the city maintains 8
its unwavering dedication to service, it will continue in the 9
tradition of excellence that has long been its hallmark; and 10
WHEREAS, It is fitting that the City of Findlay be recognized with 11
this award, for all those responsible for the municipality’s success 12
have demonstrated professionalism, expertise, and a commitment to 13
maintaining the highest quality standards. These fine individuals have 14
displayed exemplary initiative in their endeavors, and they have 15
clearly shown how very much can be attained by a group of 16
conscientious people with clear objectives and firm resolve; and 17
WHEREAS, The optimism and spirit of cooperation found among local 18
citizens have helped the City of Findlay to gain a well-deserved 19
reputation as a city whose residents are willing to invest in the 20
future of Hancock County. All those involved with the city being 21
honored as this year’s Top Micropolitan are deserving of high praise 22
for their efforts to enhance the quality of life within the 23
surrounding area; therefore be it 24
RESOLVED, That we, the members of the Senate of the 135th General 25
S. R. No. 303 Page 2
As Introduced
Assembly of Ohio, in adopting this Resolution, commend the City of 26
Findlay for outstanding achievement and look forward to its ongoing 27
success; and be it further 28
RESOLVED, That the Clerk of the Senate transmit a duly 29
authenticated copy of this Resolution to the City of Findlay. 30
