                       A RESOLUTION
                 Honoring Chuck Kyle on his induction
      into the 2024 National High School Football Hall of Fame.
     WHEREAS, The members of the House of Representatives of the 135th   1
General Assembly of Ohio are pleased to congratulate Chuck Kyle on       2
being selected as a 2024 inductee of the National High School Football   3
Hall of Fame; and                                                        4
     WHEREAS, Chuck Kyle is, indeed, deserving of this prestigious       5
honor, which has been accorded to him in recognition of his numerous     6
coaching accomplishments at St. Ignatius High School. Commencing his     7
tenure in 1972, he was named head coach of the football program in       8
1983, and over the course of four decades, he guided the Wildcats to     9
an impressive eleven state titles, as well as more than three hundred    10
victories. Indeed, he left a indelible impact not only as a leader but   11
also as an English teacher, a mentor, and an inspiration for future      12
generations to emulate; and                                              13
     WHEREAS, Chuck Kyle’s exceptional record of personal and            14
professional achievement stands as a hallmark worthy of emulation, and   15
he has inspired countless individuals to excel in numerous areas of      16
endeavor. As a coach, he has demonstrated remarkable energy,             17
enthusiasm, and dedication in leading his teams to victory, and in so    18
doing, he not only has encouraged his players to develop their talents   19
to the fullest, but he has also instilled in them a valuable sense of    20
determination, perseverance, camaraderie, and school spirit; and         21
     WHEREAS, The respect and admiration that Chuck Kyle has earned      22
throughout his lifetime are evident in his induction into the National   23
High School Football Hall of Fame. His achievements and leadership are   24
a justifiable source of pride and an excellent reflection not only on    25
him but also on his family, his players, his high school and college,    26

and his community; therefore be it                                         27
     RESOLVED, That we, the members of the House of Representatives of     28
the 135th General Assembly of Ohio, in adopting this Resolution,           29
commend Chuck Kyle on being inducted into the 2024 National High           30
School Football Hall of Fame and extend best wishes for a happy,           31
restful retirement; and be it further                                      32
     RESOLVED, That the Clerk of the House of Representatives transmit     33
a duly authenticated copy of this Resolution to Chuck Kyle.                34
