                        A RESOLUTION
                  Honoring Clinton Elementary School
                           on its Centennial.
     WHEREAS, The members of the House of Representatives of the 135th     1
General Assembly of Ohio are pleased to pay tribute to Clinton             2
Elementary School on the occasion of its One Hundredth Anniversary,        3
celebrated February 10, 2024; and                                          4
     WHEREAS, Commemoration of this prestigious milestone is a fitting     5
tribute to Clinton Elementary School. Since its establishment in 1924,     6
this closely knit scholastic community has played a valuable role in       7
preparing area youth to develop their social and academic skills.          8
Known for the high quality of education it has offered countless young     9
people, the school has established itself as an outstanding                10
educational institution in the State of Ohio; and                          11
     WHEREAS, In working to meet the criteria for scholastic               12
excellence, the faculty and administration of Clinton Elementary           13
School have demonstrated great commitment, leadership, foresight, and      14
support in providing their students with the best possible education       15
and in promoting achievement in all facets of school life. Under the       16
leadership of Principal Jesse McKown, the staff has worked diligently      17
to develop and implement a comprehensive, innovative course of study       18
designed to improve student performance, responsibility, and               19
participation and to help prepare each student to meet the challenges      20
of the future; and                                                         21
     WHEREAS, Education is vital to our nation’s continued economic and    22
social well-being, and as the need for global learning and                 23
understanding increases, so do the demands placed upon our system of       24
education. Over the years, all those associated with Clinton               25
Elementary School have consistently and effectively met these demands,     26

and as they take part in this centennial celebration, the school’s           27
students, staff, and alumni can be justly proud of this institution;         28
therefore be it                                                              29
     RESOLVED, That we, the members of   the House of Representatives of     30
the 135th General Assembly of Ohio, in   adopting this Resolution,           31
congratulate Clinton Elementary School   on its One Hundredth                32
Anniversary and extend best wishes for   ongoing success; and be it          33
further                                                                      34
     RESOLVED, That the Clerk of the House of Representatives transmit       35
a duly authenticated copy of this Resolution to Clinton Elementary           36
