A RESOLUTION
Honoring the Cardington FFA advanced parliamentary procedure team
as the 2023 State Champion.
WHEREAS, The members of the House of Representatives of the 135th 1
General Assembly of Ohio are pleased to congratulate the Cardington 2
FFA advanced parliamentary procedure team on winning the 2023 Ohio FFA 3
Parliamentary Procedure Championship; and 4
WHEREAS, The members of the Cardington FFA advanced parliamentary 5
procedure team are a dedicated and committed collection of students, 6
and they leave behind a fantastic legacy for future FFA teams by 7
winning first place in their event at the 2023 State FFA Competition 8
with a score of 846.5 points. Under the leadership of their advisor, 9
Erin Wollett, members Brayden Rammelsberg, Megan Gardner, Madison 10
Dornon, Alexis Peters, Isabelle Hess, Ava Davis, Hailey Littlemeyer, 11
Danny Townsend, and Brandon Hughes have displayed a degree of 12
determination and motivation of which they can be proud, and they have 13
set an example of excellence that is worthy of emulation; and 14
WHEREAS, FFA combines the wisdom and leadership of adulthood with 15
the enthusiasm and optimism of youth so that our young people will be 16
better prepared to assume meaningful, rewarding roles in society. It 17
is certainly encouraging to know that the future of Ohio agriculture 18
and agribusiness lies, to a large extent, in the capable hands of 19
conscientious individuals such as the members of the Cardington FFA 20
advanced parliamentary procedure team; and 21
WHEREAS, All those associated with the Cardington FFA advanced 22
parliamentary procedure team warrant the highest praise, for they have 23
demonstrated exceptional diligence and enthusiasm in preparing for the 24
rigors of competition, as well as an unwavering dedication to the 25
goals and principles of the National FFA Organization. The maturity 26

and experience these members have gained through their participation 27
in FFA will greatly aid them in meeting the challenges of tomorrow, 28
and we are certain that their future holds great promise; therefore be 29
it 30
RESOLVED, That we, the members of the House of Representatives of 31
the 135th General Assembly of Ohio, in adopting this Resolution, 32
commend the Cardington FFA advanced parliamentary procedure team on 33
its success and salute those involved with the group as some of Ohio’s 34
finest citizens; and be it further 35
RESOLVED, That the Clerk of the House of Representatives transmit 36
a duly authenticated copy of this Resolution to the Cardington FFA 37
advanced parliamentary procedure team. 38
