DETAILED ANALYSIS
The bill designates the following highway, and authorizes the Director of Transportation
to erect suitable markers along the highway indicating its name:
Designated Name “Corporal John E. Ruch Memorial Highway”1
Highway The northeastbound and southwestbound lanes of U.S. Route 20 between
Center Road and Gerald Road, in Ashtabula County
Other Information Corporal John E. Ruch, a member of the Ohio State Highway Patrol, was killed
in an automobile accident during a high-speed pursuit on March 4, 1942.
