A RESOLUTION
Honoring Stefanie Thurman on her retirement from LSC.
WHEREAS, The members of the Senate of the 135th General Assembly 1
of Ohio are pleased to congratulate Stefanie Thurman on retiring from 2
the Ohio Legislative Service Commission; and 3
WHEREAS, Stefanie Thurman is a truly remarkable individual, for 4
she has combined civic concern and diligence with selfless initiative 5
to become a dynamic leader in her field. Joining the Ohio Legislative 6
Service Commission in 1987, she served as the secretary for Tom Manuel 7
for twenty years before becoming an executive assistant, and she has 8
performed her duties and fulfilled her responsibilities with the 9
utmost efficiency and competence; and 10
WHEREAS, Throughout her career with the Ohio Legislative Service 11
Commission, Stefanie Thurman has given generously of her time, energy, 12
and abilities to assist the General Assembly, and she has demonstrated 13
a noteworthy dedication to the success of state government. Indeed, 14
she has provided a valuable service by helping to maintain the 15
efficiency and effectiveness of the legislative process, and she is 16
deserving of high praise; and 17
WHEREAS, We are proud to note that it is through the unsurpassed 18
efforts and deep commitment of conscientious people such as Stefanie 19
Thurman that the State of Ohio continues to prosper. Over the years, 20
she has striven to serve her fellow citizens to the best of her 21
ability, and we applaud her on her fine work; therefore be it 22
RESOLVED, That we, the members of the Senate of the 135th General 23
Assembly of Ohio, in adopting this Resolution, commend Stefanie 24
Thurman on the occasion of her retirement and wish her all the best in 25
the years to come; and be it further 26
