                         A RESOLUTION
            Honoring Andrea Bush for outstanding service to the State
              of Ohio.
     WHEREAS, The members of the Senate of the 135th General Assembly    1
of Ohio are pleased to extend special recognition to Andrea Bush for     2
her loyal service to the Ohio Senate; and                                3
     WHEREAS, Andrea Bush is a remarkable individual, for she has        4
combined civic concern and dedication with selfless initiative to        5
become a dynamic member of the Ohio Senate staff. Previously working     6
as a constituent aide for the Ohio House of Representatives, she         7
commenced her tenure with the Senate as a Legislative Service            8
Commission fellow in December 2017, helping to cover several member      9
offices, and in January 2018, she was assigned as the legislative aide   10
for Senator Kirk Schuring, becoming his senior legislative aide later    11
that year. In these roles, she has worked on several major pieces of     12
legislation and been a mentor to new employees; and                      13
     WHEREAS, Over the years, Andrea Bush has given generously of her    14
time, energy, and abilities to assist the Ohio Senate and has            15
demonstrated a praiseworthy commitment to the success of state           16
government. She has provided a valuable service by helping to maintain   17
the efficiency and effectiveness of the legislative process, and         18
without the efforts of people such as she, many services that are        19
currently available to the constituents of our state would cease to      20
exist; and                                                               21
     WHEREAS, Andrea Bush’s contributions to the Ohio Senate have been   22
greatly appreciated by all those who have had the pleasure of working    23
with her. She has displayed exceptional devotion, responsibility, and    24
enthusiasm in her endeavors, and we extend best wishes for success in    25
her new post as a legislative liaison for the Ohio Department of         26

Transportation; therefore be it                                            27
     RESOLVED, That we, the members of the Senate of the 135th General     28
Assembly of Ohio, in adopting this Resolution, commend Andrea Bush on      29
her exemplary state service and salute her as one of Ohio’s finest         30
citizens; and be it further                                                31
     RESOLVED, That the Clerk of the Senate transmit a duly                32
authenticated copy of this Resolution to Andrea Bush.                      33
