                       A RESOLUTION
                       Honoring Jordan Marshall
                   as Ohio’s Mr. Football for 2023.
     WHEREAS, The members of the House of Representatives of the 135th    1
General Assembly of Ohio are pleased to congratulate Jordan Marshall      2
on being named the 2023 Ohio Mr. Football by the Ohio Prep                3
Sportswriters Association; and                                            4
     WHEREAS, A senior at Archbishop Moeller High School, Jordan          5
Marshall has combined talent and competitive spirit with the highest      6
ideals of good sportsmanship to establish himself as a truly              7
exceptional young athlete. With admirable dedication, he has worked       8
diligently toward attaining ultimate proficiency in football, and         9
during the 2023 season, he rushed for 1,550 yards and 17 touchdowns       10
while also adding 30 receptions for 394 yards and 4 touchdowns; and       11
     WHEREAS, Jordan Marshall’s accomplishments and leadership, both in   12
and out of competition, are a justifiable source of pride and a fine      13
reflection not only on him but also on his family, his teammates, his     14
coaches, his school, and his community. His unwavering commitment to      15
excellence has earned him the respect and esteem of many, and he is       16
certainly worthy of high praise; and                                      17
     WHEREAS, With athletic competition playing such an important role    18
in the total education of our young people, we are overjoyed to pay       19
tribute to Jordan Marshall on an exemplary season. Indeed, the same       20
maturity and experience he has gained through his participation in        21
football will greatly aid him in meeting the challenges of the future;    22
therefore be it                                                           23
     RESOLVED, That we, the members of the House of Representatives of    24
the 135th General Assembly of Ohio, in adopting this Resolution,          25

commend Jordan Marshall as the 2023 Ohio Mr. Football and extend best      26
wishes for continued success; and be it further                            27
     RESOLVED, That the Clerk of the House of Representatives transmit     28
a duly authenticated copy of this Resolution to Jordan Marshall.           29
