                       A RESOLUTION
                        Honoring Joseph Spiccia
       on being named the 2024 Ohio Superintendent of the Year.
     WHEREAS, The members of the House of Representatives of the 135th   1
General Assembly of Ohio are pleased to celebrate Joseph Spiccia as      2
the 2024 Buckeye Association of School Administrators Ohio               3
Superintendent of the Year; and                                          4
     WHEREAS, Joseph Spiccia is, indeed, a remarkable individual,        5
combining civic concern and commitment with selfless initiative to       6
become a dynamic leader in his community. Willingly giving of his        7
time, abilities, and enthusiasm, he has established a record of          8
superlative success as the superintendent of the Wickliffe City School   9
District over the past nine years, and he has set an example that is     10
worthy of emulation; and                                                 11
     WHEREAS, Known throughout the area as an exceptional                12
administrator, Joseph Spiccia has demonstrated commendable devotion to   13
encouraging achievement, and he has earned the respect and gratitude     14
of all those who have come to know him. His outstanding work as an       15
innovative communicator and coordinator shows the potential of people    16
to have a positive effect on the quality of life in our society; and     17
     WHEREAS, It is through the unsurpassed efforts and unparalleled     18
commitment of individuals such as Joseph Spiccia that our nation         19
continues to grow and prosper and our state remains responsive to the    20
needs of its youth. He has earned a well-deserved reputation as a        21
generous and civic-minded person thanks to his role in such projects     22
as developing the district’s ten year plan, the construction of a        23
completely new campus, and the creation of the Wickliffe Family          24
Resource Center. He is deserving of applause for his concerted           25
endeavors on behalf of the Wickliffe City School District and the        26

citizens of the City of Wickliffe; therefore be it                         27
     RESOLVED, That we, the members of the House of Representatives of     28
the 135th General Assembly of Ohio, in adopting this Resolution,           29
congratulate Joseph Spiccia on his recent accolade from the Buckeye        30
Association of School Administrators and salute him as one of Ohio’s       31
finest leaders; and be it further                                          32
     RESOLVED, That the Clerk of the House of Representatives transmit     33
a duly authenticated copy of this Resolution to Joseph Spiccia.            34
