                       A RESOLUTION
                     Honoring Perrysburg Heights
                          on its Centennial.
     WHEREAS, The members of the House of Representatives of the 135th   1
General Assembly of Ohio are pleased to recognize Perrysburg Heights     2
on the jubilant occasion of its One Hundredth Anniversary, celebrated    3
December 16, 2023; and                                                   4
     WHEREAS, Since its inception one hundred years ago, Perrysburg      5
Heights has experienced dramatic growth and change, and yet,             6
commendably, even as its residents have exuberantly embraced the         7
promise of a bright future, they have never relinquished their           8
appreciation for the worthiest virtues of the past. Without              9
sacrificing their sense of tradition in the name of progress, the        10
people of Perrysburg Heights have managed to nurture a fresh             11
perspective and a positive outlook that endear this distinctive place    12
to all who know it well; and                                             13
     WHEREAS, America is only as strong as her individual communities,   14
which are unique and which make a significant contribution to the        15
culture of our state and nation. The One Hundredth Anniversary of        16
Perrysburg Heights offers its residents the opportunity to share their   17
memories and experiences and to reflect on the benefits of life in       18
their close-knit community, for they have built on the best traditions   19
of the past to ensure a future filled with hope and promise; and         20
     WHEREAS, Every state depends upon such vibrant, durable             21
communities as Perrysburg Heights for its own survival and stability.    22
Although it has known adversity and tribulation, it also has been        23
favored with its share of blessings. In the years to come, it is sure    24
to remain on its admirable course and to continue to transform           25
challenges into opportunities; therefore be it                           26

As Offered
     RESOLVED, That we, the members of the House of Representatives of 27
the 135th General Assembly of Ohio, in adopting this Resolution,       28
extend our congratulations to Perrysburg Heights as it commemorates    29
its One Hundredth Anniversary and offer our best wishes for its        30
perennial good fortune; and be it further                              31
     RESOLVED, That the Clerk of the House of Representatives transmit 32
a duly authenticated copy of this Resolution to Perrysburg Heights.    33
