A RESOLUTION
Honoring the Thomas Steel Strip Corporation
on its Centennial.
WHEREAS, The members of the House of Representatives of the 135th 1
General Assembly of Ohio are pleased to extend special recognition to 2
the Thomas Steel Strip Corporation on the celebration of its One 3
Hundredth Anniversary; and 4
WHEREAS, The Thomas Steel Strip Corporation is, indeed, deserving 5
of high praise, for throughout a century of operation, this fine 6
company has attained a noteworthy record of accomplishment. 7
Established by Mr. Clinton G. Thomas, the business has distinguished 8
itself as an industry leader in plating, and it has earned the 9
gratitude and appreciation of many satisfied clients with its stellar 10
combination of flexible customer service and pioneering technologies. 11
Indeed, its success is a justifiable source of pride and an 12
outstanding reflection not only on the business itself but also on its 13
astute management, on its hard-working employees, and on the Warren 14
community; and 15
WHEREAS, Since its inception, the Thomas Steel Strip Corporation 16
has enhanced the quality of life within the surrounding area, and its 17
many outstanding contributions to the local economic landscape have 18
set it apart as an iconic local business. We have no doubt that as 19
this worthy enterprise maintains its dedication to service and 20
achievement, it will continue to prosper; and 21
WHEREAS, The growth of the Thomas Steel Strip Corporation can be 22
attributed to the vision and foresight of a host of innovative 23
individuals, and all those who have been involved with its success are 24
to be applauded on their tremendous efforts. Indeed, this remarkable 25
venture convincingly demonstrates how very much can be accomplished by 26

a group of conscientious people with clear objectives and firm 27
resolve, and it is through the work of citizens such as these that 28
Ohio continues to be a pleasant place in which to live; therefore be 29
it 30
RESOLVED, That we, the members of the House of Representatives of 31
the 135th General Assembly of Ohio, in adopting this Resolution, 32
commend the Thomas Steel Strip Corporation on its One Hundredth 33
Anniversary and extend best wishes for the future; and be it further 34
RESOLVED, That the Clerk of the House of Representatives transmit 35
a duly authenticated copy of this Resolution to the Thomas Steel Strip 36
Corporation. 37
