DETAILED ANALYSIS
The bill designates the following highway and authorizes the Director of Transportation
to erect suitable markers along the highway indicating its name:
Designated Name “Al Oliver Highway”1
Highway The eastbound and westbound lanes of State Route 125, between the Rocky
Fork Road and U.S. Route 52, in Scioto County.
Other Information Al Oliver was born in Portsmouth, Ohio. He was an outfielder and first
baseman for various Major League Baseball teams from 1968 to 1985,
including the 1971 Pittsburgh Pirates World Series champion team.
