                       A RESOLUTION
           Honoring Corinthian Baptist Church on its One Hundred
              Fifty-fifth Anniversary.
     WHEREAS, The members of the Senate of the 135th General Assembly    1
of Ohio are pleased to extend special recognition to Corinthian          2
Baptist Church on the hallowed occasion of its One Hundred Fifty-fifth   3
Anniversary; and                                                         4
     WHEREAS, Since its inception in 1868, Corinthian Baptist Church     5
has offered its members the pathway to a more meaningful life by         6
illuminating and demonstrating the precepts on which the church was      7
founded. The spirit of love and Christian fellowship that exists among   8
the parishioners not only prevails within the church edifice itself      9
but also extends beyond those sacred walls to touch the lives of         10
everyone encountered by these devout disciples; and                      11
     WHEREAS, Under the capable leadership of its pastors, both past     12
and present, Corinthian Baptist Church has experienced continual         13
growth and has provided a source of moral guidance and spiritual         14
motivation for each of its members. Over the years, the church has       15
called many places home but it has never failed to enhance the quality   16
of life within the surrounding area, and through its generous efforts,   17
it has earned the gratitude and respect of the many citizens it has so   18
capably served; and                                                      19
     WHEREAS, An occasion such as this is an important milestone that    20
represents dedication and commitment. For one hundred fifty-five         21
years, the members of Corinthian Baptist Church have kept their faith    22
alive in the community, and on this special anniversary the              23
congregation has accepted the challenge of carrying its beliefs into     24
the future; therefore be it                                              25

As Introduced
     RESOLVED, That we, the members of the Senate of the 135th General     26
Assembly of Ohio, in adopting this Resolution, congratulate Corinthian     27
Baptist Church on its One Hundred Fifty-fifth Anniversary and pay          28
tribute to all those joining in the celebration of this joyous event;      29
and be it further                                                          30
     RESOLVED, That the Clerk of the Senate transmit a duly                31
authenticated copy of this Resolution to Corinthian Baptist Church.        32
