                       A RESOLUTION
            Honoring Debbie Rickabaugh as the 2023 Meals on Wheels of
              America “Power of Knock” National Volunteer of the Year.
     WHEREAS, The members of the Senate of the 135th General Assembly     1
of Ohio are pleased to pay tribute to Debbie Rickabaugh on being          2
presented with the 2023 Meals on Wheels of America “Power of Knock”       3
National Volunteer of the Year Award; and                                 4
     WHEREAS, An esteemed volunteer for SourcePoint Meals on Wheels for   5
the past sixteen years, Debbie Rickabaugh has been recognized as a        6
respected member of her community, and this noteworthy distinction        7
further celebrates her unparalleled initiative. Without question, she     8
has been a valued ambassador for the Meals on Wheels program, and her     9
contributions to homebound seniors residing in Delaware County have       10
made a lasting impression; and                                            11
     WHEREAS, Debbie Rickabaugh has been enthusiastic and dependable in   12
all of her endeavors, and she has expended countless hours and            13
seemingly inexhaustible energy in the interest of others. Indeed, she     14
is worthy of the highest praise for her efforts to create                 15
compassionate and inclusive connections with everyone impacted by         16
SourcePoint Meals on Wheels; and                                          17
     WHEREAS, Debbie Rickabaugh has given back to the community far       18
more than she has gleaned, and her selfless endeavors stand as the        19
hallmark of responsible citizenship. Indeed, it is through the            20
unsurpassed efforts and consistent support of conscientious               21
individuals such as she that our state has remained responsive to the     22
diverse needs of its citizens; therefore be it                            23
     RESOLVED, That we, the members of the Senate of the 135th General    24
Assembly of Ohio, in adopting this Resolution, we applaud Debbie          25

Rickabaugh for exemplary attainment and salute her as a fine Ohioan;       26
and be it further                                                          27
     RESOLVED, That the Clerk of the Senate transmit a duly                28
authenticated copy of this Resolution to Debbie Rickabaugh.                29
