                       A RESOLUTION
                        Honoring Emma Stransky
  as the 2022-2023 Gatorade Ohio Player of the Year in girls soccer.
     WHEREAS, The members of the House of Representatives of the 135th   1
General Assembly of Ohio are pleased to congratulate Emma Stransky on    2
being named the 2022-2023 Gatorade Ohio Player of the Year in girls      3
soccer; and                                                              4
     WHEREAS, A student at Copley High School, Emma Stransky has         5
combined talent and competitive spirit with the highest ideals of good   6
sportsmanship to establish herself as a truly exceptional athlete.       7
With admirable dedication, she has worked diligently toward attaining    8
ultimate proficiency in soccer, and as a result, she compiled 44 goals   9
and 20 assists during the 2022 season and helped her team defeat a       10
tough Waynesville squad to secure the 2022 Division II State             11
Championship title; and                                                  12
     WHEREAS, Emma Stransky’s accomplishments and leadership, both in    13
and out of competition, are a justifiable source of pride and a fine     14
reflection not only on her but also on her family, her teammates, her    15
coaches, her school, and her community. Her unwavering commitment to     16
excellence has earned her 2022 All-Ohio Division II first team and       17
2022-2023 Gatorade Ohio Player of the Year honors, and she is            18
certainly worthy of high praise; and                                     19
     WHEREAS, With athletic competition playing such an important role   20
in the total education of our young people, we are overjoyed to pay      21
tribute to Emma Stransky on her exemplary accomplishments. Indeed, the   22
same maturity and experience she has gained through her participation    23
in soccer will greatly aid her in meeting the challenges of the          24
future; therefore be it                                                  25

As Offered
     RESOLVED, That we, the members of the House of Representatives of 26
the 135th General Assembly of Ohio, in adopting this Resolution,       27
commend Emma Stransky for outstanding achievement and extend best      28
wishes for continued success; and be it further                        29
     RESOLVED, That the Clerk of the House of Representatives transmit a duly            30
authenticated copy of this Resolution to Emma Stransky.                                  31
