                       A RESOLUTION
   Honoring the Marion Local High School boys track and field team
               as the 2023 Division III State Champion.
     WHEREAS, The members of the House of Representatives of the 135th 1
General Assembly of Ohio are pleased to pay tribute to the Marion      2
Local High School boys track and field team on securing the 2023       3
Division III State Championship title; and                             4
     WHEREAS, A remarkable group of young men, the Marion Local High     5
School boys track and field team is comprised of excellent athletes      6
who collectively worked to showcase the talents of their exceptional     7
squad. The Flyers trained diligently, combining the stamina of a young   8
fleet of athletes with the drive of a seasoned group of leaders, and     9
as a result, they won this year’s Division III State title by            10
accumulating 38 points. They have truly gained the admiration of all     11
those who have witnessed their outstanding performances; and             12
     WHEREAS, This triumph, which fulfills the expectations of the       13
loyal fans who followed the team to the championship, attests to the     14
staunch resolve of the Marion Local High School boys track and field     15
team. Thanks in part to the tireless efforts of its coaching staff led   16
by Kyle Grabowski, the squad is certainly deserving of this crown; and   17
     WHEREAS, The accomplishments and development of the Marion Local    18
High School boys track and field team are excellent examples of what a   19
dedicated coaching staff and a committed group of sports families and    20
athletic boosters can achieve. Indeed, these fine athletes are worthy    21
of acknowledgement; therefore be it                                      22
     RESOLVED, That we, the members of the House of Representatives of 23
the 135th General Assembly of Ohio, in adopting this Resolution,       24
congratulate the Marion Local High School boys track and field team as 25

As Offered
the 2023 Division III State Champion and salute all those involved            26
with this noteworthy program; and be it further                               27
     RESOLVED, That the Clerk of the House of Representatives transmit 28
a duly authenticated copy of this Resolution to the Marion Local High  29
School boys track and field team.                                      30
